Overview

Project Overview

This project involved contributing to the design of a confidential enterprise Gen-AI platform within the healthcare domain.

The platform was designed for internal use at Pfizer to support healthcare professionals through AI-assisted tools within a regulated enterprise environment.

Due to non-disclosure agreements, detailed workflows, data, and interface visuals cannot be shared publicly.

This page highlights the design areas I contributed to, including UI systems, component design, and collaborative product development.

Context

Project Context

Large healthcare organizations such as Pfizer operate within complex regulatory and operational environments where clinical data, research insights, and internal knowledge systems must remain secure.

The goal of this platform was to explore how Generative AI could assist internal healthcare professionals and researchers by improving access to information, simplifying internal workflows, and enabling more efficient decision support.

Designing enterprise tools in healthcare introduces additional constraints such as:

Regulatory Compliance

Designing within strict healthcare regulations and enterprise compliance standards.

Strict Data Security

Handling sensitive clinical data with enterprise-grade security requirements.

Privacy Protection

Ensuring patient and research data privacy throughout all interface interactions.

Complex Internal Workflows

Supporting intricate clinical and research processes through clear, intuitive interfaces.

The product interface needed to balance AI-driven capabilities with clear, trustworthy interaction design suitable for healthcare professionals.
